MONDAYS ARE UPPER BODY CIRCUIT TRAINING AND WEDNESDAYS ARE LOWER BODY CIRCUIT TRAINING.

SPIN

Instructors: TERRA HILL & MARILEE MUENCH

SPIN IS A 30 TO 45 MINUTE INDOOR CYCLING CLASS LED BY A MOTIVATING INSTRUCTOR ACCOMPANIED BY A PLAYLIST OF POWERFUL AND ENERGIZING MUSIC. SPINNING IS CHALLENGING, MOTIVATING AND FUN.  IT SI ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO IMPROVE CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS WHILE BURNING LOTS OF CALORIES.  SPINNING IS A HIGH ENERGY CLASS WITH A VARIED MIXTURE OF FLATS, HILLS AND SPRINTS.  BECAUSE SPINNING IS LOW IMPACT IT IS SUITABLE FOR MOST PEOPLE AND OUR CLASSES CAN ACCOMMODATE ALL ABILITY LEVELS.

DANCE CARDIO

A FUN LOW-IMPACT CARDIOVASCULAR WORKOUT TO BURN CALORIES AND FAT WHILE TONING YOUR BUTT AND THIGHS! CLASS WILL BE STRUCTURED SIMILARLY TO A FORMAL DANCE CLASS STARTING WITH A WARM UP, LEADING INTO THE DANCE/EXERCISE OF THE CLASS, AND ENDING WITH A COOL DOWN/STRETCH. THE DANCE STYLES MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE DAY AND INSTRUCTOR'S MOOD, BUT THE MAIN FOCUS WILL BE JAZZ MOVEMENTS AND TO HAVE FUN!

AQUA FITNESS (SUPER 8 POOL)

Instructor: CINDY LANE/ CHERYL GEIB

A CLASS FOR EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH JOINT AILMENTS OR INJURIES. BECAUSE OF THIS LOW-IMPACT FORMAT, WATER AEROBICS IS SUITABLE FOR EVERY AGE AND FITNESS LEVEL. WE WILL BUILD CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS WHILE TONING AND SCULPTING YOUR BODY WITH RESISTANCE TOOLS SUCH AS BUOYANT WATER WEIGHTS AND NOODLES. NO NEED TO BE A SWIMMER OF ANY KIND TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS FUN AND SLOW PACED CLASS!

GREAT LUNCH HOUR WORKOUT!  THIS CLASS TONES AND SCULPTS YOUR ENTIRE BODY IN JUST 30 MINUTES.  BEGINNING THROUGH ADVANCED FITNESS LEVELS WELCOME.

ZUMBA

Instructor: TRACY GILMORE

ZUMBA IS A LATIN-INSPIRED, DANCE FITNESS CLASS THAT INCORPORATES LATINA ND INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AND DANCE MOVEMENT. BOTH CREATE A DYNAMIC, EXCITING, EXHILARATING, AND EFFECTIVE FITNESS PROGRAM. ZUMBA COMBINES FAST AND SLOW RHYTHMS THAT ONE AND SCULPT THE BODY USING AN AEROBIC/FITNESS APPROACH TO ACHIEVE A UNIQUE BLEND OF CARDIO AND MUSCLE-TONING.

STRENGTH TRAINING

ENDURANCE AND RESISTANCE TRAINING WITH HIGH-INTENSITY EXERCISES COMBINED WITH LOW TO NON-EXISTENT REST TIMES TO ENSURE YOU BURN THE MOST FAT AND CALORIES YOU CAN. CLASS IS MAINLY GEARED TOWARDS OUR SILVER SNEAKER/SENIOR CITIZEN MEMBERS, BUT IT OPEN TO ANY ONE AT ANY AGE AND AT ANY LEVEL.

DEFENSE CLASS

Instructor: Todd McGeorge

IN THESE CLASSES YOU'LL LEARN A COMPREHENSIVE SELF-DEFENSE MARTIAL ARTS. YOU WILL PRACTICE HOW TO APPLY KARATE BASICS AND KATA TECHNIQUES TO REAL LIFE FIGHTING SITUATIONS. CLASSES WILL FOCUS ON APPLYING TECHNIQUES TO DISTANCE FIGHTING, GRAPPLING, AND THROWS. YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO DEFEND YOURSELF, YOUR FAMILY, AND YOUR FRIENDS WHILE GETTING IN GREAT SHAPE. CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVEL.
